Trauma Bonded is a dark comedy series that challenges the way female trauma, specifically Domestic Violence, is portrayed on-screen.

This was achieved by:

Not casting the role of the abuser
Not showing graphic scenes of abuse
Keeping the focus on the character journey of the survivor

The Story

Dual-personalities Casey and Kate avoid pain from their past at the expense of their relationships, until a life-or-death situation forces them to face the unbearable if they hope to survive. This dark comedy challenges how female trauma is depicted on-screen in an exciting adventure.

Production

Trauma Bonded was 100% crowdfunded and produced by Bull Skull Productions. Filming wrapped in March 2022.
